INTRODUCTION
In Fall of 2023, I completed a Library Marketing class (INFO 283) and my semester-long project creating a fictional library based on some sunset photos I had taken of the view of my back porch, as it faced West when I lived in Parker, CO.
The goal was to successfully advertise and market a library website, and so I used Adobe Stock to create a modified logo and set up dummy stock images.

METHODOLOGY
I had initially attempted to have a mock library database installed, but the work that I had completed in Caspio was, unfortunately, all deleted. It is my hope to expand this project down the line and to include a working database at that time. For now, a 404 error page stands in its place.
The colors of the website were chosen carefully to evoke the feelings of sunset, as this central theme underpins the entire conceptual library.

WEBSITE OVERHAUL
Up until recently, this site looked very different from the way that it does today. I was having some trouble with an older theme that I was using in WordPress and lost a lot of information when I suddenly changed themes. I therefore had to essentially re-make the entire website, down to formulating the site to work appropriately on mobile.

VISION & INSPIRATION
I had been doing a lot of thinking about birdwatching, stargazing, and sunset photography, as I had been doing all of these things in the evenings in my spare time after homework was complete.
I enjoyed using my Canon T3i DSLR and a distance lens to record these photos, which I then fed into Adobe Firefly (AI Software) in order to create some mock imagery for the ‘Observation Deck’ section.
